Bachelor and bachelorette parties have been around pretty much since the beginning of time. Traditionally, the “theme” of these was simple: bars, nightclubs, strippers, and lots of booze. However, over the years the vibes have shifted and now your special night with your people can be pretty much styled any which way you can think of! They say girls just wanna have fun - and that’s exactly what we came to explore today.
Of course, you can still have your traditional crazy bachelorette-themed night out if that’s your style - all power to you. But if you’re looking for something new, something fresh, and something fabulously fun to sink your teeth into - read on! We’ve got all our favorite bachelorette themes listed below for your reading pleasure and inspiration.

PJs & Prosecco
Really…what more could a cozy gal want? Consider getting your group together for a cutesy bachelorette sleepover complete with a photoshoot in your pjs while popping all the prosecco! We love this more low key vibe, and think so much can be done with it. This can be hosted at your house, a friend’s, or even a hotel suite or Airbnb. Maybe include some spa activities (at home or otherwise), scandalous card games, your favorite rom-com, and all the yummy snacks you want. Adult slumber party…sign me up!
Après Ski with the Bride to Be
For the more adventurous and outdoorsy bach beauties, there’s nothing stopping you from hitting the slopes with your squad for a little weekend getaway! To do it up right, consider renting a rustic cabin close to, or even directly at your desired ski resort to take advantage of all it has to offer. After a day in the snow, come together for some much-needed comfort food, adult hot chocolates, and maybe even a couple (dozen) shot-skis.

Last Toast on the Coast
A day at the beach is sometimes just what the doctor ordered for a busy bride. Somehow the sunshine, the salt water, and the sea air just have this magical way of making everything feel absolutely better. So why not take advantage of that for your bachelorette party? Pack a cooler full of white claws and your car full with your friends for a quick day trip, or you can even get an Airbnb for the weekend. Complete the trip with a lovely picnic on the beach with blankets, pillows, silverware, a small table, and a signature cocktail (sex on the beach anyone?). This option feels both creative and classy in equal measure! This is also one of those themes that you can inflate even more and make it into a destination party. Who says you can’t toast on the coast of Florida? Or in Mexico?!
One Last Disco
It’s giving ABBA and Mamma Mia vibes, and we’re totally here for it. Grab some gogo boots, glitter, and your girls and head on out to the clubs for one last disco! As the dancing queen herself, you should be dancing the night away surrounded by all the good music, vibes, company, and booze - we’re feeling some blue Hawaiians for this to really emphasize the 70’s vibe. For this theme specifically we always recommend fun props, like colored glasses and wigs, microphones, and temporary tattoos. Make sure the crew knows…on-theme outfits are a must!

‘Til Death Do Us Party
For all our dark academia and goth girlies, oh do we have a treat in store for you. To achieve optimal spooky vibes, we recommend throwing your ‘Til Death Do Us Party themed bachelorette party in the fall, maybe around Halloween. I mean, how perfect is that? We’re feeling a dark house party with your people, complete with smoky cocktail potions, skull and gravestone decorations, a scary movie marathon, and some risqué games (if you dare)!
The Real Housewives
Bravo shows hold a special place in our heart, and if you feel the same, we really think you should consider a Real Housewives themed bachelorette. This theme has so much flexibility and range, so feel free to get as specific as possible based on which housewives are your favorite! Whether it be Orange County, New York, Dallas, or our personal favorite, Philadelphia, the sky's the limit. One thing is for certain though, make sure you have lots of wine and Skinnygirl Cocktails at the ready. For die hard fans, encourage everyone to dress as your favorite wife (wigs strongly encouraged here), and gather for a binge of the show as well as Bravo trivia or bingo. Fun fact: “What Do You Meme?” even has a Real Housewives expansion pack!

Camp Bach
Let’s all pile onto the bus and head to Camp Bach this summer! If you grew up loving summer camp or always wanted to experience it, you’re going to equally love this theme. Making this a destination party is a must for this one! We specifically picture this on/near a lake, perhaps in a cabin or lodge. Or, if you really want to commit, bring your tents and sleeping bags! This theme would be complete with planned competitions, games, crafts, water sports, and bonfires (brewskis and s’mores anyone?). To top it all off, you can end the day around the fire telling the scariest of stories from your adult lives (aka gossip).
Vino Before Vows
Simplicity at its finest: drink some wine with your friends. We love the versatility of this theme. Not only can you go all out and book a trip to Napa Valley for a day of vineyard hopping and wine tasting, but alternatively you can head to a local winery, a wine bar in your hometown, or all BYO wine to a designated house for your own tasting. As long as there is charcuterie, fresh fruit, and lots of silly goofy pictures, you’ll be set!
We continue to be inspired by these fresh and new bachelorette ideas, and cannot wait to see what you do with yours!
